Making the magic happen.
It all started in 8th grade when I joined the Drama elective and was cast as Huck Finn in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Throughout high school, I acted and worked backstage to make the magic happen on stage, as well as competing state wide through the National Thespian Honor Society. This love of theatre led me to study Costume Design at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama.
Throughout my years there, and my four years since then working professionally in the industry, I have had the opportunity to grow both as a creative and as a manager who can prioritize needs and necessities, budget and keep track of monetary spending, and use the workplace as a tool for adapting and teaching.
Below you will find a list of productions I have worked on and my roles with them, along with information regarding specifics of some of the roles I played while working on them.

Working in theatre is all about collaboration and working as a team to get the show together. I have been fortunate to have worked with many who, to this day, are friends for life.
In my years working in theatre, I have managed and recorded receipts for various productions, with budgets ranging from $300.00 to $150,000.00. Along with this, I have also been responsible for purchasing and tracking orders, working with and creating relationships with vendors, managing interns, and keeping day to day operations in order.
Along with this, I have helped with organizing schedules, many for costume fittings, as well as helping take notes and fit clothing on actors during said fittings. As well as designing costumes myself, I have facilitated getting the design from idea to stage, doing so by getting costumes together, having fittings, sewing and managing all costume notes needed for the clothes to properly fit, and working with wardrobe teams to make sure all clothing transitions can run as smoothly as possible during the show.
